About the Dilgo Surf Crew
What is a Dilgo?
A Dilgo is not a "what", it is a "who". The Dilgos surf tribe started as a bunch of friends who started surfing together on Long Island, NY at the 4x4 drive on section of Gilgo Beach. Drop the "G" in Gilgo and swap it with a "D" for the drive on area and you get - Dilgo.
After the Dilgo name was created, I started making things with "Dilgo Surf" on them, People we met and people we know started asking for our hats, shirts, etc. I had inadvertently started the Dilgo Surf brand.
But Dilgo Surf is so much more! It is a lifestyle of love, friendship, and a deep passion for surfing and respect for our oceans.
Meet Our Team
Our tribe is made up of experienced surfers and ocean enthusiasts. We are inventors, artists, musicians, teachers and tradesmen who love to SURF!
KEGS is our master rider with the slickest style and a musician.
Hammer is one of our artists, musician, yogi and shredder.
Seano catches more waves than he catches fish and probably fishes more than he surfs.
Jutzy is originally from Missouri and our crash test dummy. If it breaks, he'll break it.
Herby is another Missourian and our google - he knows everything.
Dan Long-Hair is another artist and is fearless, but don't poke the bear!
Captain is the one to ask if you need anything and the one steering this ship.
